Hyatt announces plans to expand its all-inclusive brand in Mexico

With the opening of Secrets Playa Blanca Costa Mujeres, Hyatt Hotels Corporation (NYSE: H) today announced ambitions to increase the all-inclusive brand’s market share in Mexico. The new resort will join Hyatt’s collection of opulent all-inclusive properties, the Inclusive Collection, when it opens in late 2023.

Secrets Playa Blanca Costa Mujeres

Just 12 miles north of Cancun, in Costa Mujeres, on a quiet section of beach, Secrets Playa Blanca Costa Mujeres will be built. 509 hotel rooms and suites, as well as a range of eating, entertainment, and amusement activities, will be available at the resort.

There will be six à la carte restaurants, a buffet restaurant, a café, and a grill at Secrets Playa Blanca Costa Mujeres. Additionally, there are numerous pubs and lounges available to visitors, including an adults-only pool bar and a swim-up bar.

The resort will also provide a range of recreational opportunities, such as fitness courses, nighttime entertainment, and water sports. Additionally, guests will have access to a modern spa and fitness center.

Hyatt’s All-Inclusive Portfolio in Mexico

The most recent resort to join Hyatt’s all-inclusive portfolio of 10 resorts in Mexico is Secrets Playa Blanca Costa Mujeres. The resort is a component of Hyatt’s larger expansion plans in Mexico, which also call for the opening of numerous additional hotels over the next few years.

Hyatt Expands in Mexico

A crucial area for the corporation, Mexico, is one where Hyatt is devoted to growing its presence. Hyatt intends to open a number of additional hotels in Mexico during the following years, in addition to Secrets Playa Blanca Costa Mujeres, including:

  • The adults-only resort Andaz Mayakoba Riviera Maya, expected to debut in early 2024.
  • The family-friendly resort Hyatt Ziva Cancun, set to debut in late 2024.
  • The early 2025 opening of the all-inclusive Hyatt Regency Riviera Maya

These new hotels will help Hyatt meet the growing demand for all-inclusive resorts in Mexico.
