Zinedine Zidane, a former manager of Real Madrid, won’t be taking over Los Blancos for a third time this summer.
Ever since he left Los Blancos two seasons ago, Zidane has been unemployed.
Though he received a lot of attention, Didier Descamps still holds the position as France’s manager.
Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain, Juventus, and Olympique Marseille have all been mentioned in connection with the Frenchman.
Zidane is aware that he won’t be getting that post this summer, thus according to Marca, Real Madrid’s current manager Carlo Ancelotti appears to be staying at Santiago Bernabeu.
According to the report, Florentino Perez, the club president, is content with Ancelotti and plans to stick with him for the 2023–24 campaign, therefore Real Madrid has no intention of re-signing Zidane.
If Zidane wants to get back into management this summer, he will need to look elsewhere.
Brazil has made it clear that Ancelotti is their favorite choice for this summer’s tournament, but the Italian coach has made it clear time and time again that he intends to finish out his contract at Real Madrid through 2024, barring Perez’s decision to fire him.
