After a turbulent few years in the spotlight, Amber Heard moved to Madrid, Spain with her daughter Oonagh Paige. According to a friend of the actress, she speaks fluent Spanish and is happy to raise her daughter away from Hollywood.
However, the actress has not made any public statements or indicated that she will be leaving acting.
The 37-year-old actress has secretly moved to Spain with her daughter Oonagh, according to an article by Alison Boshoff for the Daily Mail. In his report, Boshoff writes: “She is bilingual in Spanish and is happy raising her daughter away from all the noise.” A friend of Heard’s told Boshoff: “I don’t think she is in any rush to return to work or to Hollywood.” “However, she is likely to return when the time is right, for the right project.”
Heard has been spending a lot of time in Spain, although her agents have not officially commented on the decision. She was sighted on the Palma de Mallorca beaches in October of last year, and just a few days earlier during her trip to Spain, she had been seen having fun with her daughter at a playground. Since bringing her into the world via surrogate in July 2021, Heard has primarily kept her child out of the spotlight.
Heard was penalized for defaming her ex-husband Johnny Depp in a 2018 op-ed she published for The Washington Post by being forced to pay him $10 million in compensatory damages and $350,000 in punitive damages.
Heard, though, argued that the jury’s decision was unsupported by the evidence and asked the judge to throw out the jury’s decision and order a new trial.
