Biden is currently America’s oldest president, according to the AP News agency. Figured out that at the end of a second term, should he win, Biden would be 86 years old.

Many in his own Democratic Party camp are disappointed by that possibility and would much rather support a more youthful, energetic, and diverse candidate. But according to the AP, Biden won’t have much trouble winning his party’s candidature. There aren’t many other viable possibilities, and Biden is likely to get support from Democrats who are mostly united in their opposition to granting Trump a second term. (Trump will start serving as president in January 2025 at the age of 78; he is now 76.)

The sole non-elected official among the seven people selected as national co-chairs of Biden’s campaign team was veteran Hollywood executive Jeffrey Katzenberg.
