One of the best players of all time, Lionel Messi, has been the focus of several transfer rumours and speculative guesses over the years. One of the most recent reports centres around an offer Messi allegedly received from Al Hilal, a Saudi Arabian club, for a contract worth more than €400 million annually.

According to reports, Al Hilal made the offer in response to their success in the AFC Champions League and their aim to develop a squad that may win the FIFA Club World Cup. Messi has not responded to the offer in the media, but German Garcia Grova of TyC Sports claims that he has turned it down.

It’s important to note that Messi has spent the most of his career with Barcelona and has publicly pledged his allegiance to the team and its supporters. His future with the team has been up in the air lately, especially when he declared his intention to depart the organisation in 2020. However, he has not yet signed a contract renewal with Barcelona. He later decided to stay for another season.

While addressing potential transfer rumours, it’s critical to rely on reliable sources and confirmed facts despite Messi’s unclear future with Barcelona. Although there have been rumours that Al Hilal made Messi an offer, neither the offer nor the identity of the team that made it have been officially confirmed.

Messi’s next move is still to be determined, but it is obvious that top clubs around the world are vying for his services. Whatever he decides, it will undoubtedly draw a lot of interest and coverage from media outlets and football fans.
